為了在疫情期間，提高醫務人員的工作效率，江蘇省環境保護産業協會協調了部分省内消毒機生産企業，無償捐贈消毒機給南京幾大醫院，這樣可以避免因為噴灑消毒劑消毒而導緻醫務人員工作暫停的情況。
今天(8月3日)上午，在江蘇省環境保護産業協會的牽頭下，南京一家企業首先捐贈了68台空氣消毒機到南京鼓樓醫院、南京腦科醫院、江甯醫院以及收治病例的南京二院湯山分院，貨值共計70萬元，鼓樓醫院首先收到了20台消毒機。南京鼓樓醫用物質保障處處長楊玉志表示：“我們各個病區或者急症或者一些大的設備間，都是需要這個的，有些疫情防控需要消毒，這些設備真的很需要。”
楊處長告訴記者，原本他們都是定時定點對病區和設備機房以及診室進行噴灑消毒，但是這樣務必會導緻CT室、超聲檢查以及診室等工作中斷，影響工作效率：“用來連續的、持續的消毒，病人和咱們工作人員可以長時間待在裡面，不會因為消毒暫停工作。”捐贈企業負責人史克志表示：“這一台消毒機，對30平方到40平方左右的空間，消毒比較好，像診斷台、病房隔離間，用得比較好。”
江蘇省環境保護産業協會副會長徐衢告訴記者，在省内他們共有1400多家會員單位，為了應對疫情，他們首先篩選了一些做空氣消毒機的企業，在關鍵時刻，資助有需要的防疫一線單位，下一步他們将繼續号召會員單位，回饋社會。
